At AirGreen, we confirm that if a heat pump installed from November 26, 2025 onwards is not ENERGY STAR® certified, it is not eligible for LogisVert — therefore, refusal is to be expected for this measure.
Eligibility: certification and installation date

Installation from November 26, 2025 : the heat pump must be ENERGY STAR® certified to be eligible.

Installation before November 26, 2025 : the application is processed according to the list of devices in effect at the time of installation (it is not automatically “yes” or “no” without verification).

Key point: the aid is aimed at the purchase and installation of an ENERGY STAR® certified heat pump for heating and air conditioning purposes.
Technical conditions to be verified (complete system)
To be eligible, the complete system (outdoor unit + one or more indoor units) must, in particular:

to be new;
-
be ENERGY STAR® certified;

include an outdoor unit with a minimum rated power of 12,000 BTU/h (in air conditioning mode);

having been purchased in Quebec (or online from a company with an address in Quebec);
-
be installed in an eligible dwelling whose main heating is electric.
Note: Financial assistance (if eligible) is calculated in $/1000 BTU/h at -8 °C according to the type and date of installation.
Works and licenses

The company performing the work must be registered with the Quebec Enterprise Registrar, hold the appropriate RBQ licenses (depending on the work) and be a member of the corporation in its sector of activity.

Electrical work requires license subcategory 16 – Electricity.
Documents to prepare (and what to check if “not certified”)

Invoices: they must demonstrate that they have been paid and include, among other things, the number and date, the installation date, the address, the GST/ QST numbers, the RBQ license number, and the AHRI or ENERGY STAR® number.

Photo required: clear photo of the outdoor appliance's rating plate showing the ENERGY STAR® symbol and indicating the model number and serial number.
If you believe the heat pump is eligible despite some doubt, check: -
on the external nameplate (presence of the ENERGY STAR® symbol);

on the invoice (presence of an AHRI or ENERGY STAR® number);

If needed, via logisvert.ca or support at 1 833 396-1888 .
Application deadlines and submission

The request must be submitted no later than 9 months after the date the measure was put into place.

Online submission only via logisvert.ca (no processing by email or post).

If the application is incomplete or inadmissible, Hydro-Québec will notify you within approximately 20 business days of receipt.

The processing time is 10 to 12 weeks from receipt of a complete application.

Hydro-Québec may request access to the dwelling for verification within 6 months of the request.

Depending on your situation, a NEQ , a QST number or a SSN may be required.
