Zephyr wall air conditioner: cooling only, from 12,000 to 24,000 BTU/h.
Zephyr wall air conditioners ZE-12BA17, ZE-18AA17 and ZE-24AA17 cool only: no heating. On R-410A, up to 18.3 SEER (old method) per TTI’s 2023 brochure. Available on quote. If you also want heat, a wall heat pump does both and may qualify for LogisVert.

These figures come from a TTI brochure printed in 2023, hosted on airgreen.ca. TTI no longer publishes it on its site: we confirm every figure on the quote.Source: TTI, “ZEPHYR 18” and “Zephyr 23” brochures (R-410A, printed 2023), copies hosted on airgreen.ca, checked Oct. 8, 2026.
Why we do not compare SEER with SEER2.
The 2023 brochure gives SEER values, measured with the old method. Current series are rated in SEER2 and HSPF2. The calculator applies the same definition to the 2023 SEER values: heat removed over the season divided by the electricity used.
These two figures do not compare directly: SEER2 comes from a tougher test, with higher external static pressure (US DOE, Appendix M1, mandatory since January 1, 2023). In Canada, minimums are stated in SEER2 and HSPF2 since the same date.
Illustrative math: SEER (old method, DOE, Appendix M), like SEER2, is the heat removed over the season divided by the electricity used, in BTU per watt-hour. A SEER and a SEER2 do not compare directly. Cost at Hydro-Québec’s Rate D second-tier price (11.142¢/kWh since April 1, 2026), which applies if use exceeds the first tier (40 kWh per day, times the number of days in the period); below it, a kWh costs 7.065¢. Before taxes and access fees. Your home will have its own numbers.
Since January 1, 2023, a split heat pump made for Canada must reach at least 14.3 SEER2 and 6.0 HSPF2 (Region V); a split air conditioner, 13.4 SEER2.Source: SOR/2022-265, Canada Gazette, Part II, Dec. 21, 2022.
Zephyr wall AC: no LogisVert. Here is why.
Hydro-Québec’s program follows simple rules, and the 2023 R-410A models do not fit them. Several current wall units, on the other hand, qualify by AHRI number.
- For cooling, LogisVert only funds air-to-air heat pumps “for heating and cooling”. A cooling-only unit is not a program measure.
- A heat pump must also be ENERGY STAR certified (since November 26, 2025) and have an outdoor unit of at least 12,000 BTU/h.
Amounts checked by AHRI number in Hydro-Québec’s tool (Oct. 6, 2026). Scale: $0 to $2,640.
Since November 26, 2025, LogisVert requires a heat pump to be ENERGY STAR certified to qualify.Source: Hydro-Québec, residential LogisVert participation guide, version 1.10, Sept. 15, 2026 (2026G448F), and eligible heat pump search tool, checked Oct. 6, 2026.
How many decibels, how many kilograms?
Pick a size: the bars show the sound pressure at each speed, then the dimensions and weight printed on the brochure.
Scale: 0 to 60 dB(A). 2023 brochure values.
Dimensions shown in the order printed on the 2023 brochure.
The 24,000 AC outdoor unit weighs 48 kg; the 12,000’s, 26.5 kg.Source: TTI “ZEPHYR 18” brochure (2023).
How many watts at rated capacity?
The brochure ratings are enough to estimate the power drawn at test conditions. Pick a size: the meter follows.
Scale: 0 to 2,500 W. At the brochure’s test conditions, not in deep cold.
AirGreen math from the ratings printed in 2023: EER is cooling in BTU/h per watt used. The rated current is the brochure’s; a variable-speed unit can draw more or less depending on the load.
At rated capacity (test conditions), the 24,000 AC draws about 2,308 W: 24,000 BTU/h ÷ 10.4 EER, per the 2023 brochure ratings.Source: TTI “ZEPHYR 18” brochure (2023); AirGreen math.
R-410A, still allowed in Canada.
These Zephyr ACs use R-410A, an A1 (non-flammable) refrigerant with a GWP of 2,090. Current series moved to R-454B (CB25, UB32) and R-32 (CB22).
GWP and ASHRAE class per the EPA (SNAP, March 19, 2026). A1: non-flammable.
Composition per ASHRAE designations (410A: R-32/125, 50.0/50.0).
R-410A is an equal blend of R-32 and R-125. R-32 alone is the CB22’s refrigerant.Source: ASHRAE refrigerant designations.

What replaces the Zephyr wall AC today, size for size.
Current Zephyr wall units use R-454B or R-32, most of them ENERGY STAR certified; every series has models that qualify for LogisVert (12,000 BTU/h and up, depending on the model). They also heat, which an air conditioner does not.

What the brochure said, and what the law says.
The 2023 brochure announced 10 years on parts and compressor. For a unit bought new on or after October 5, 2026, the law adds a 6-year warranty of good working order, counted from delivery.
on parts and compressor, per the 2023 ZEPHYR 18 brochure. We confirm the warranty on the quote.
For a heat pump or air conditioner bought new from a merchant on or after October 5, 2026, Quebec law adds a free, automatic 6-year warranty of good working order, counted from delivery (Office de la protection du consommateur). Under TTI’s parts policy (v3.4, July 17, 2026), labour to replace a part during that period falls on the installing contractor.
Service or repair by anyone not certified and authorized by TTI (or Kinghome) ends the manufacturer’s conventional warranty (TTI, s. 4.4).
If something breaks, you call the contractor who installed it; they file the claim with TTI.
TTI’s policy asks owners to clean the indoor unit filters at least once a month (s. 6.3).

No question matches. Call us at 514-316-2973.
An air conditioner only cools. A wall heat pump cools and heats: the CB25, for example, cools from -15 to 48 °C and heats down to -30 °C per Zephyr, and may qualify for LogisVert.
Our product page lists it on 115 V (ZE-12BA17). We confirm it on the quote.
On Rate D, the price is the same all year: 7.065¢ for the first 40 kWh a day, 11.142¢ after that (April 1, 2026). On Rate Flex D, peak events happen in winter, from December 1 to March 31.
Per the 2023 brochure: 26 dB(A) at silent speed for the 12,000; 49 to 58 dB(A) outdoors depending on size.
For cooling, LogisVert only funds air-to-air heat pumps: a cooling-only unit is not a program measure. Since November 26, 2025, a heat pump must also be ENERGY STAR certified.
In Canada, yes: no GWP limit applies to residential units (SOR/2016-137, current to Apr. 28, 2026). In the US, new residential equipment installed since 2025 must use a refrigerant with a GWP under 700, except components made or imported before 2025.
Not directly: SEER2 comes from a tougher test (DOE, Appendix M1, since 2023). We compare both units during the visit, with their sheets.
On quote: we confirm availability with TTI, owner of the Zephyr brand.
