Zephyr CB25 wall-mounted heat pump: down to -30 °C, from 9,000 to 24,000 BTU/h.
The R-454B CB25 heats down to -30 °C per Zephyr, with an electronic expansion valve and ENERGY STAR cold-climate certification. Four sizes on 208/230 V, and two on 115 V (DB25). Like the CB22, it goes up to 24,000 BTU/h, but it is the only one of the two to heat down to -30 °C, and it qualifies for the largest LogisVert amount of any Zephyr wall unit: $2,640.
Heat at -15 °C for each size, per Zephyr (115 V 9,000: ENERGY STAR).
Zephyr CB25 BRO_2606 brochure, ENERGY STAR (Oct. 8, 2026), LogisVert tool (Oct. 6, 2026).
6 CB25 models, one page each.
Each card shows the heat at -15 °C, the Zephyr sheet SEER2 (115 V 9,000: ENERGY STAR) and the LogisVert amount. Tap a card to open the product page.

1 kWh of electricity, how much heat?
The first panel gives the COP of each CB25 at +8.3 and -15 °C; the second, the electricity needed to cool a season based on each size’s SEER2.
COP per the Zephyr BRO_2606 brochure; resistance heat: 100% (US DOE), so COP 1.
Illustrative math: SEER2 is, by definition (DOE, Appendix M1), the heat removed over the season divided by the electricity used, in BTU per watt-hour. Cost at Hydro-Québec’s Rate D second-tier price (11.142¢/kWh since April 1, 2026), which applies if use exceeds the first tier (40 kWh per day, times the number of days in the period); below it, a kWh costs 7.065¢. Before taxes and access fees. Your home will have its own numbers.
At +8.3 °C, the CB25 9,000 delivers 3.88 kWh of heat for each kWh of electricity, per the Zephyr brochure.Source: CB25 brochure BRO_2606, “heating COP at 8.3 °C”.

Indicative amounts: Hydro-Québec sets them when you apply. Our LogisVert guide
The CB25 24,000 qualifies for the largest LogisVert amount of any Zephyr wall unit: 22,000 BTU/h at -8 °C, so 22 × $120 per 1,000 BTU/h = $2,640.Source: Hydro-Québec, LogisVert tool (Oct. 6, 2026), AHRI 215414832.

The CB22 24,000 is not listed by ENERGY STAR, so it is not eligible for LogisVert. The CB25 24,000 qualifies for the highest LogisVert amount of any Zephyr wall unit.
The CB25 is the only Zephyr wall series that combines 24,000 BTU/h and heating down to -30 °C: the UB32 stops at 15,000, the CB22 at -25 °C.Source: BRO_2606 brochures.
The CB25’s R-454B.
The CB25 uses R-454B, an A2L refrigerant with a GWP of 470, a blend of R-32 and R-1234yf. In Canada, no GWP limit applies to residential heat pumps (SOR/2016-137, Schedule 1.1).
GWP and ASHRAE class per the EPA (SNAP, March 19, 2026). A2L: mildly flammable, burning at most 10 cm/s.
Factory charge per the BRO_2606 brochure, in ounces. Scale: 0 to 72 oz.
The CB25’s R-454B is a blend: 68.9% R-32 and 31.1% R-1234yf, for a GWP of 470.Source: ASHRAE designations; EPA SNAP (March 19, 2026).

10 years on parts, a 6-year legal warranty.
Zephyr’s base warranty covers the CB25’s parts for 10 years. For a heat pump bought new on or after October 5, 2026, the law adds a 6-year warranty of good working order, counted from delivery.
on parts, per the CB25 BRO_2606 brochure and TTI page. “A labour warranty is available”: ask your contractor.
For a heat pump or air conditioner bought new from a merchant on or after October 5, 2026, Quebec law adds a free, automatic 6-year warranty of good working order, counted from delivery (Office de la protection du consommateur). Under TTI’s parts policy (v3.4, July 17, 2026), labour to replace a part during that period falls on the installing contractor.
Service or repair by anyone not certified and authorized by TTI (or Kinghome) ends the manufacturer’s conventional warranty (TTI, s. 4.4).
If something breaks, you call the contractor who installed it; they file the claim with TTI.
TTI’s policy asks owners to clean the indoor unit filters at least once a month (s. 6.3).
