Seven R-32 medium-static ducted units, from 12,000 to 48,000 BTU/h, all 300 mm tall. The unit sits above the ceiling or in a bulkhead, measures your ducts’ pressure on its own and blows into several rooms. Built-in drain pump and leak sensor.

One height for every R-32 size: 300 mm, from 12,000 to 48,000 BTU.

200 Pa

Up to 0.80 in WG (200 Pa) of static pressure to serve several rooms.

Built-in refrigerant leak sensor on the R-32 models.

Attic

04 · Static pressure

Enough push for several rooms.

Static pressure is the resistance of the ducts, grilles and filter. The more a ducted unit can overcome, the more rooms it can serve.

External static pressure range published by Fujitsu. The higher it goes, the longer and more numerous the ducts can be. The network is sized on site.

Automatic measurement

The R-32 ducted units detect the ducts’ static pressure on their own and set their fan, according to Fujitsu.

Return from the side or the bottom

The return air connects at the back or the bottom of the body, depending on the space available.

Airzone zoning

Fujitsu states compatibility with Airzone zoning: motorized dampers set each room.

Short ducts

A ducted unit is not a furnace: it serves a few nearby rooms through short ducts. For the whole house, see the Centauri air handler.

05 · Which indoor unit

Same outdoor unit, different efficiency.

On the same Centauri outdoor unit, the ducted unit has a lower SEER2 than the cassette or the floor-ceiling unit. The LogisVert amount stays the same.

R-32: 12,000, 18,000 and 24,000

The ARUH12, 18 and 24KUAS are on Fujitsu’s indoor-unit list for the R-32 multi-zones: a ducted unit can serve one floor, wall heads the rest.

R-32: 30,000 to 48,000

These sizes pair only with their own outdoor unit.

R-410A slim heads

The LUAS1 and RLF slim units have no outdoor unit of their own, nor a LogisVert amount of their own: they are R-410A multi-zone heads.

With the AOU36RLXFZ1

Fujitsu accepts the LUAS1 heads on this unit: 27,000 to 39,000 BTU/h connected, 70 m of line set in total and 25 m per room.

13 · The RGLX series

The previous generation, line by line.

Most RGLX are not on the ENERGY STAR list: $0 in LogisVert. Only the 18,000 and 24,000 are, without the cold-climate mention.
