The Élios KJRSAALW1 programmable Wi-Fi wired controller (manufacturer model KJR-120N(X6W)/BGEF) has all the functions of the KJRSAALN1 and adds a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi module. You adjust the unit at the wall or remotely, through a mobile app on iOS 9.0 and up or Android 6.0 and up.
Program at the wall, adjust from anywhere
The controller offers a weekly schedule with 4 settings per day, or a detailed schedule where each time slot has its own mode, set point and fan speed. It is a logical choice for a cottage, a condo or a rental property you want to keep an eye on from a distance. Élios lists it for its GGHLA and EAHM air handlers, its GPHLA units, its GKHRA, GQHRA and GQHLA cassettes and its EMC and EBC wall-mounted heat pumps.
Functions from the manual
- Follow Me, child lock and group control of up to 16 units.
- Furnace and dual-energy modes, and auxiliary electric heat, when the connected unit supports them.
- WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK secure network and remote software updates.
Wiring
Powered at 12 V DC by the unit, it connects to the HA and HB terminals, with no polarity, using a 6 m 4-conductor cable suggested by the manufacturer. A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal is needed where it is installed.

What to know before installing
- You need a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network within reach of the controller.
- It connects to the HA and HB terminals, no polarity; the maker suggests a 4-conductor cable, 6 m.
- Dual fuel and backup heat are set at the controller when the connected unit supports them.
- If you do not need Wi-Fi, the KJRSAALN1 has the same programming functions.

The Élios KJRSAALW1 manual names the mobile app to use, on iOS 9.0 and up and Android 6.0 and up; we set it up with you. We pair it with your network during installation.
