Fujitsu UTZ-VXRA Fresh Air Intake Kit for Circular Flow Cassette

The Fujitsu UTZ-VXRA fresh air intake kit is the genuine part that connects a fresh air duct to the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE AUUH circular flow cassette. Fujitsu lists it on the spec sheet for its AUUH systems under the name “Fresh Air Intake Kit”.

For large spaces cooled by a cassette

The circular flow cassette, from 18,000 to 48,000 BTU, is often used in stores, restaurants and open-plan offices. When the ventilation plan calls for outdoor air supply in these spaces, the UTZ-VXRA lets you bring it in through the cassette, at a connection point provided by Fujitsu, rather than through a separate grille.

Planning fresh air properly

The kit does not turn the cassette into a ventilation system: the building’s air exchanger or mechanical ventilation is planned separately. The fresh air duct must be insulated and connected according to the cassette’s manual. For the ACUH compact cassette, the matching kit is the UTZ-VXAA.
