The Fujitsu UTZ-VXAA fresh air intake kit is the OEM part used to connect a fresh air duct to a Fujitsu AIRSTAGE compact cassette. Fujitsu classifies it as a “Fresh Air Intake Kit for compact cassette type”.

Bringing outdoor air in through the cassette

In an office or a store, the ventilation plan sometimes calls for outdoor air to be supplied to the conditioned room. Rather than adding a separate grille, the UTZ-VXAA kit provides a connection point designed by Fujitsu on the cassette. The fresh air is then distributed by the unit. The cassette does not replace an air exchanger, though: the building’s ventilation is planned separately.

What to plan for

The fresh air duct must be insulated and connected according to the cassette’s manual. The AUUH circular-flow cassette uses a different kit, the UTZ-VXRA. We check your model and the duct route during the visit.

Is my cassette compatible?

Fujitsu lists the UTZ-VXAA for the H-Series ACUH**KUAS compact cassette and the AUUA VRF compact cassette. Send us your model number and we confirm.

Does the cassette become an air exchanger?

No. The kit brings outdoor air through a duct connected to the cassette; building ventilation is planned separately, often with an air exchanger.

UTZ-VXAA or UTZ-VXRA?

UTZ-VXAA for the ACUH compact cassette, UTZ-VXRA for the AUUH circular-flow cassette.
