Fujitsu FJ-IR-WIFI-1NA Infrared Wi-Fi Module (Intesis Home)

The Fujitsu FJ-IR-WIFI-1NA infrared Wi-Fi module lets you control a Fujitsu AIRSTAGE heat pump from a phone, tablet or computer, with the Intesis Home app. It mounts on the wall, within range of the indoor unit, and sends it your commands by infrared, exactly like its remote control. Nothing is plugged in inside the unit.

A heat pump you manage remotely

You can turn the unit on before you get home, check that it was not left running after you leave, follow the room temperature and get a notification if an alarm occurs. The app’s calendar is used to program a schedule. Each module controls a single indoor unit, and one app manages up to 50 of them.

Before installing it

The service is cloud-based: an Internet connection is required at all times. Check the Wi-Fi signal strength at the chosen spot, and keep the line between the module and the unit clear of curtains, furniture or metal surfaces. On a non-wall unit (cassette, ducted), an IR receiver must be installed on the unit. If your unit has no receiver, the wired FJ-AC-WIFI-1 module is often the best option.
