GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTZ-KXGC High-Humidity Insulation Kit for Compact Cassette

Designed for the AIRSTAGE compact cassette, the GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTZ-KXGC high-humidity insulation kit is an original part from the manufacturer. Whether it is labelled GENERAL or Fujitsu AIRSTAGE, it is the same kit. Its role: supplementing the unit’s insulation when it goes into a very humid ceiling, where condensation could appear. The switch from Fujitsu General Limited to GENERAL Inc., on January 1, 2026, left the factories and the model numbers untouched.

The Fujitsu name is gradually disappearing in favour of GENERAL; until then, the same kit carries both names, and you can view the same part under the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE brand at AirGreen, an authorized GENERAL and Fujitsu AIRSTAGE dealer.

Heat and humidity above the ceiling

Stores, commercial kitchens, poorly ventilated rooms: that is mostly where the air in a ceiling space warms up and fills with moisture during the summer. For those conditions, the manufacturer lists the UTZ-KXGC as the compact cassette’s “High Humidity Insulation Kit”, in addition to the unit’s factory insulation. An ordinary room under a dry ceiling space generally does without it.

The right kit for the right format

Each cassette format has its own kit. The UTZ-KXGC goes on a compact cassette and the UTZ-KXRA on an AUUH circular flow cassette, never the other way around. Our visit is precisely where this gets settled: we confirm your cassette’s model, look at the condition of the ceiling space and tell you whether the kit is justified in your case.

A kit fitted before commissioning
