Quick facts
The Gree B04537 connection terminal block is designed for wiring the 12, 15 and 20 kW electric heating elements of FLEXX air handler cabinets. It is a small part, but without it, installing a large auxiliary heating element can stall partway through the job.
A part to order with the element
The higher the element’s output, the more current it draws. According to Gree’s spec sheet, some high-output FLEXX elements are fed by two circuits. The connection must therefore be planned at the load calculation and ordering stage, not on installation day. We include the terminal block in the same quote as the element so the work gets done in a single visit.
Before you order
- The full model number of the FLEXX cabinet
- The output of the element you want: 12, 15 or 20 kW
- The capacity of the electrical panel, checked by a master electrician
Safety
Shut off all power sources before opening the cabinet. Tighten the connections to the specified torque: insufficient tightening makes the conductors overheat. Connecting an auxiliary heating element is a job for a master electrician.

A part to plan with the big heaters
High-output heaters come with more than one circuit: the connection should be planned when you order.
- Installing a 12, 15 or 20 kW heater in a FLEXX air handler
- Replacing a damaged or overheated terminal block
- Upgrading a smaller heater to 12, 15 or 20 kW
- Ordering together with the heater, for a single visit
