Quick facts
The LG MultiSITE CRC2 wall controller (PREMTBVC2) is part of LG's MultiSITE suite of controls. LG describes it as a controller with a customizable home screen whose functions and look are adapted to the application. It connects by cable to the indoor unit, which powers it at 12 V DC.
A screen for occupants, settings for the manager
Configuration is role-based and password-protected: the occupant sees the controls they need, the manager keeps access to the settings. The CRC2 reads room temperature and humidity and can control up to 16 indoor units. LG specifies it for its commercial indoor units, except PTACs; LG Canada lists it as an option for the LVN480HV single-zone vertical air handler.
Manufacturer specifications
- Dimensions: 4.72 × 3.39 × 1.06 in
- Power: 12 V DC, 2.34 W, from the indoor unit
- Operating range: 0 to 50 °C, 0 to 95% RH non-condensing
- Cable: 3-conductor, 22 gauge, up to 164 ft, no splices
Placing the controller
The temperature sensor is inside the housing. LG requires a flat wall, about 5 ft above the floor, away from direct sunlight, drafts and rain. For occupancy detection, choose the CRC2+ (PREMTBVC3) instead.
