This heating element adds electric auxiliary heat to the air handler of the Novair EVOX central heat pump. It is available in 5, 8, 10 and 15 kW, chosen according to the air handler size and the heat your home needs in extreme cold.
Extra heat for the EVOX heat pump
Novair’s EVOX central series pairs an outdoor unit with an air handler, from LEA18-EVOX-30-I to LEA60-EVOX-30-I, powered at 208/230 V single-phase. The air handler distributes the heat pump’s heat through the home’s ducts; the element takes over when the heat pump can no longer keep up with demand.

- The output is chosen according to the air handler size, your heating needs and the capacity of your electrical service.
- We confirm compatibility with Novair before ordering.
Manufacturer safety instructions
Novair’s owner’s manual requires that a unit fitted with an electric element be installed at least 1 m (3 ft) from any combustible material. Wire size and circuit protection are calculated from the element’s nameplate, and the circuit is done by a master electrician.

No. The heater kit must be the one specified for the air handler. This one is for Novair EVOX air handlers.
