GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTZ-VXRA Fresh Air Intake Kit for Circular Flow Cassette

The GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTZ-VXRA fresh air intake kit connects a fresh air duct to the AIRSTAGE AUUH circular flow cassette; it is the original part, identical in its GENERAL and Fujitsu AIRSTAGE versions. Its name on the AUUH system spec sheet: “Fresh Air Intake Kit”. Paloma Rheem Holdings acquired Fujitsu General Limited, renamed GENERAL Inc. on January 1, 2026, and AIRSTAGE products still come out of the same factories.

Our catalogue still features the same part under the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE brand: until GENERAL has finished replacing the former name, the part is sold under both.

Fresh air for large spaces served by a cassette

From stores to restaurants to open-plan offices, the 18,000 to 48,000 BTU circular flow cassette is a frequent choice. When these spaces must receive outdoor air under their ventilation plan, the UTZ-VXRA brings it in through the cassette, at the connection point the manufacturer provided for that purpose, rather than through a stand-alone grille.

Planning the fresh air supply

With this kit, the cassette still does not become a ventilation system: the building’s air exchanger or mechanical ventilation is planned on its own. On the installation side, the fresh air duct is insulated and connected following the instructions in the cassette’s manual. On the ACUH compact cassette, it is the UTZ-VXAA that plays this role instead.
