GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTY-TWRXZ4 Communication Kit for Orion XLTH+ Wall Unit

The GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTY-TWRXZ4 is the genuine communication kit that makes it possible to connect a wired remote control to the Orion XLTH+ wall-mount heat pump, the top of the line in the AIRSTAGE family. Without it, neither the KAGAMI controller nor the wired remote controls can be connected to the unit. The name change dates from January 1, 2026: on that day, Fujitsu General Limited became GENERAL Inc. following its acquisition by Paloma Rheem Holdings, and the factories as well as the AIRSTAGE products stayed the same. This GENERAL kit is therefore identical to the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE version.

A version reserved for the Orion XLTH+

For the Orion XLTH+, the manufacturer designed a separate variant of the communication kit. On the system’s spec sheet, the note “Requires Communication kit UTY-TWRXZ4 to connect this device to IDU” accompanies each of the following devices.

• The UTY-RNRUZ5 wired remote control and the KAGAMI UTY-RVRU wired controller
• The UTY-RHRY and UTY-RSRY simple remote controls
• On the integration side, the UTY-VTGX network converter and the UTY-TERX external switch controller
• The UTY-TTRXZ1 interface for a 24 V thermostat

The models concerned

The Orion XLTH+ comes in 9,000, 12,000 and 15,000 BTU, in white (ASUH**KTAS) as well as in black (ASUH**KTAB). The spec sheet we consulted covers the 15,000 BTU system, so we confirm your model before any order. For Altair 500, Altair 700 and Orion XLTH wall units, the UTY-TWRXZ2 is the one you need instead. Note that on the Orion XLTH+, the external input and output board is also model-specific: the UTY-XCSXZ3.
