The LG PWFMDD200 Wi-Fi module connects a compatible LG indoor unit to your wireless network and to the free LG SmartThinQ app for iOS and Android. LG Canada presents it as a module that, with the app, provides remote monitoring and control of certain LG ductless air conditioners and heat pumps.

Control your heat pump wherever you are

With SmartThinQ, you turn the unit on, change modes and set the schedule to suit your needs. The app tracks filter wear and offers Smart Diagnosis (Smart Diagnosis) to pinpoint the cause of a shutdown. LG states that an unlimited number of indoor units, spread across several systems, can be managed, with one module per unit.

Compatibility

LG limits this module to certain units; LG Canada lists it, for example, as an option for the LVN480HV single-zone vertical air handler. Send us the model number of your indoor unit: we confirm before ordering. Make sure a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network covers the unit’s location.
