How Hydro-Québec computes it
The amount follows the certified heating capacity at −8 °C: $120 per 1,000 BTU/h for a cold-climate ENERGY STAR heat pump, $50 for a standard ENERGY STAR heat pump.

- Capped at 100% of the cost of the work.
- Apply within 9 months of the installation.

Questions about ELIOS consoles.
Why a console instead of a wall unit?
It sits low on the wall, often under a window, and blows warmth near the floor. It is only 200 mm deep.
Is a condensate pump needed?
The ELIOS manual calls for gravity drainage, with a minimum slope of 1/100. If the slope is not possible, we discuss it during the visit.
Is Wi-Fi included?
Not on the console: only the remote is included. Wi-Fi is added with the WF0C1 dongle or a wired Wi-Fi controller.
What warranty?
ELIOS publishes 1 year on parts and 5 years on the compressor, with optional 10-year coverage. ELIOS publishes no labour warranty.
