Kinghome is a heat pump brand built for northern North America. Airy, Clivia and Polaris heat down to -30°C, Charmo down to -25°C, and all four series are ENERGY STAR cold climate. We help you choose the series and the size, then install it anywhere in Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, the South Shore and the North Shore.

Each series’ limit comes from Kinghome (heating operating range). Capacities come from ENERGY STAR: there is no certified figure below -15°C, so we do not make one up.
04 · 115 V or 220 V
Some Kinghome units run on a 115 V circuit.
Charmo and Clivia come in 115 V at 9,000 and 12,000 BTU/h. Every other size, and every Airy and Polaris, is 220 V.
Four models connect to a 115 V circuit: Charmo and Clivia, at 9,000 and 12,000 BTU/h. Handy when the electrical panel is full.
05 · LogisVert
The LogisVert amount of every Kinghome, checked with Hydro-Québec.
Hydro-Québec pays $120 per 1,000 BTU/h of heat at -8°C for an ENERGY STAR cold-climate heat pump, if the outdoor unit is at least 12,000 BTU/h. The amounts below come from Hydro-Québec’s list of October 13, 2026.
Owner of an existing home. The amount cannot exceed 100% of the cost before taxes. Hydro-Québec confirms the amount when you apply.

06 · The warranty
12 years parts and compressor, if the unit is registered in time.
The Kinghome warranty depends on two things: the use (residential or commercial) and registration within 60 days of installation. Here is what the Kinghome Canada warranty statement says.

Registration within 60 days
Without registration or a verifiable installation date, the warranty starts 120 days after the date of manufacture.
Installed by a certified or licensed contractor
The warranty only covers systems properly installed by a certified or licensed HVAC contractor.
Labour and refrigerant excluded
Kinghome covers parts and the compressor. Diagnosis, labour, shipping and refrigerant are not covered.
Original owner
The unit must be at the original owner’s occupied home. Later buyers qualify when the unit was installed by a Kinghome Canada certified dealer.
Normal maintenance
Filters must be maintained. A claim goes through the contractor who did the installation.
