Why does the Polaris get more LogisVert?

LogisVert pays $120 per 1,000 BTU/h of rated heat at -8.3 °C, and that is where the Polaris is strong: at every size, it gives the highest rated heat of our Kinghome wall units. Its amount runs from $1,800 to $3,120 (compare).

What is a three-cylinder parallel compressor?

Per the brochure, a main cylinder and a micro auxiliary cylinder work in parallel, with enthalpy injection, to aim for both capacity and efficiency. The brochure calls it “Triple Rotary” in its table. Kinghome publishes no further technical detail.

How cold can the Polaris heat?

Down to -30 °C per NEEP and its brochure. At -30 °C, NEEP publishes 6,400 BTU/h for the 9,000, 7,300 for the 12,000, 11,000 for the 18,000 and 18,200 for the 24,000, with a COP of 1.40 to 1.78. At 18,000 and 24,000, that is the highest value of our Kinghome wall units at that temperature; at 9,000 and 12,000, the Airy does better.

Is the Polaris quiet?

Its product page and brochure give 20 dB(A) at indoor minimum (9,000 BTU/h) and 55 dB(A) outside. Its submittals of September 17, 2026 give higher indoor levels for all four sizes, and higher outdoor levels for the 18,000 (60 dB(A)) and the 24,000 (58) (details by model). The two documents differ: the page shows both.

What does the Polaris app show?

Per the brochure, electricity consumption (monthly and yearly reports, last 30 days) and a cost target you set yourself. The Polaris connects over 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, on Android and iOS.

Which line set for a Polaris?

10 to 131 ft for all four sizes per the brochure, the only one of our Kinghome wall series to allow it from the 9,000, and 82 ft of height difference per the submittals. Pre-charged for 25 ft per the brochure (24.6 ft per the submittals), then 0.2 oz/ft (9,000 to 18,000) or 0.4 oz/ft (24,000) of R-32.

What LogisVert amount for a Polaris?

From $1,800 (12,000 BTU/h) to $3,120 (24,000 BTU/h): $120 per 1,000 BTU/h of heat at -8 °C. The 9,000 BTU/h units are not eligible. The calculation for each model is above; Hydro-Québec confirms the amount when you apply.

Polaris or Airy at 24,000?

At 24,000, the Polaris gives 26,000 BTU/h at -8.3 °C against 23,000 for the Airy, hence a LogisVert of $3,120 against $2,760. At -30 °C, NEEP publishes 18,200 against 17,000 BTU/h. The Airy keeps the edge on SEER2 (27 against 25) and at -15 °C: 24,000 against 20,400 BTU/h on the ENERGY STAR certificates (the gap on the plate), 24,000 against 23,000 at most on NEEP.

Why two sets of figures for the Polaris 9,000?

The brochure prints SEER2 26.5, 15,000 BTU/h at -8.3 °C and 13,000 at -15 °C; the ENERGY STAR certificate and NEEP say 26.0, 14,000 and 12,000. Hydro-Québec reads the certificate: so does the page. Either way, the 9,000 is not eligible for LogisVert.

Why is the 24,000’s base-pan heater different?

Per NEEP, it switches on below -5 °C or in defrost on the Polaris 24,000, and below 1 °C or in defrost on our other Kinghome wall units listed on NEEP. It heats the outdoor unit’s base pan.

Which controls come with a Polaris?

A YBE1FBF infrared remote, and Wi-Fi (“WI-FI control”) among the included features. Optional: four wired controls (XE71-44G, XE74-44E, XE72-44E, XE71-00/E), per the submittals.

That is the figure Hydro-Québec reads for LogisVert: its amount is the highest of its size, from 12,000 BTU/h. What the brochure highlights

The Polaris brochure also puts numbers on the three-cylinder compressor’s gains (SEER2, capacity at -15 and -8 °C, COP) against conventional models, from tests the brochure cites: we do not repeat them, as no conditions are published for these models.

The only one of our Kinghome wall series with a 131 ft line from the 9,000. Pre-charged for 25 ft per the brochure, 24.6 ft (7.5 m) per the submittals. Its brochure gives no height difference: its submittals say 82 ft for all four sizes. Its outdoor manual (Sept. 24, 2026) repeats the installation rules of the other wall units.
