The Fujitsu UTYXWZXZL UART cable is an OEM part used to connect a gas sensor in a refrigerant leak detection system. UART is a serial communication link: the cable lets the sensor and the unit exchange their signals.
A link that is part of the safety system
With an A2L refrigerant such as R-32, leak detection is one of the unit’s safety measures. A sensor is useless if its link to the unit fails: that is why we install the cable specified by the manufacturer rather than a generic connector. According to Fujitsu, several R-32 AIRSTAGE units, such as the ARUH ducted units and the AMUH units, already have a built-in sensor, so an external cable is not always needed.

To confirm this cable suits your installation, send us:
- The model number of the indoor unit and of the outdoor unit, shown on their nameplates
- The refrigerant listed on the nameplate (R-32, R-410A…)
- A photo of where the unit is installed, if possible

The cable routing follows the unit’s manual, and the detection system is checked after connection. Work on an A2L refrigerant unit is reserved for a qualified technician.
