The Fujitsu UTY-XCSX external input and output board is the OEM board Fujitsu lists for its AIRSTAGE H-series non-wall-mounted units: cassettes, duct units, suspended ceiling units and air handlers. It adds external inputs and outputs to link the unit to a management system, a programmable controller or other devices.
A board for concealed units
In an office, a store or a home where the cassette sits in the ceiling, the unit often has to communicate with the rest of the building. The UTY-XCSX board provides those connection points. The function of each input and output is set at installation, following the indoor unit’s manual.
Box or bracket, depending on the unit
The board is not installed on its own: Fujitsu’s spec sheets pair a box or a bracket with each model.
- UTZ-GXEA: ACUH**KUAS compact cassette, ADUH**KUAS slim duct unit, suspended ceiling unit
- UTZ-GXRA: AUUH**KUAS circular-flow cassette, AMUH**KUAS air handler
- UTZ-GXNA (bracket): ARUH**KUAS medium static pressure duct unit
For wall units
Wall units use other boards: the UTY-XCSXZ2 for the Altair 500 and Orion XLTH, the UTY-XCSXZ3 for the Orion XLTH+.

Hidden units connected to the building
On H-Series non-wall units, Fujitsu lists the UTY-XCSX as the external input and output board.
- Connecting the heat pump to a building management system or controller
- Control and signalling through external devices (contacts, pilot lights, timers)
- Commercial, rental or hotel projects that need more than basic on/off

What to know before installing
- Order the box or bracket that matches your unit (see the list below).
- Each input and output function is set per the unit’s manual.
- Wall-mount units use the UTY-XCSXZ2 or UTY-XCSXZ3, not this one.
- The work is done in the unit’s electrical box: have a technician do it.

Is my unit compatible?
Fujitsu lists the UTY-XCSX for its ACUH**KUAS and AUUH**KUAS cassettes, ADUH**KUAS and ARUH**KUAS ducted units, AMUH**KUAS air handlers and its ceiling-suspended unit. Send us your model and we confirm.
Which box or bracket do I need?
Per Fujitsu’s submittals: UTZ-GXEA for the ACUH compact cassette, the ADUH slim duct and the ceiling unit; UTZ-GXRA for the AUUH circular-flow cassette and the AMUH unit; UTZ-GXNA bracket for the ARUH ducted unit.
Is it the same board as for wall units?
No. Altair 500 and Orion XLTH wall units take the UTY-XCSXZ2, and the Orion XLTH+ the UTY-XCSXZ3.
Can you install it?
Yes. Our technicians mount the board in its box or on its bracket and wire your devices, everywhere in Greater Montréal.
