The Fujitsu UTY-XWZXZG external connection kit is the original part Fujitsu specifies for connecting an external device to the board of an AIRSTAGE non-wall-mounted indoor unit: cassette, ducted unit, suspended ceiling unit or air handler. Fujitsu classifies it among its “external connect kits for indoor units”.
The harness for cassettes and ducted units
At Fujitsu, the external connection harness changes with the type of unit. Wall-mounted and floor units use the UTY-XWZX or UTY-XWZXZ5; non-wall-mounted units in the R-32 H series use the UTY-XWZXZG. It is used to connect an external contact, a timer or a controller to the unit, in commercial spaces as well as in a home where the cassette is in the ceiling.

Is my Fujitsu unit compatible?
Fujitsu lists it for its ACUH**KUAS and AUUH**KUAS cassettes, ADUH**KUAS and ARUH**KUAS ducted units, AMUH**KUAS air handlers and its ceiling-suspended unit. Send us your model number and we confirm.
Is it the same as the UTY-XWZXZ5?
No. The UTY-XWZXZ5 is the kit for wall-mount and floor units. The UTY-XWZXZG is for non-wall units.
How is it different from the UTY-XCSX board?
The UTY-XWZXZG is a connection harness. The UTY-XCSX board adds external inputs and outputs to the unit and mounts in a box or bracket specific to each model.
