The Fujitsu KAGAMI UTY-RVRU wired controller is the premium wall controller in the AIRSTAGE line. Its 4 in colour touchscreen shows room temperature, mode, set point, fan speed and timer. It connects to the indoor unit with two wires and is powered by it.

Simple day-to-day control

Fujitsu designed the KAGAMI around one idea: one operation per screen. Swipe up or down to adjust, sideways to move to the next setting. An indicator light shows the current mode: blue for cooling, red for heating, green for dehumidification and purple for auto. The controller runs up to 16 indoor units as a group.

For businesses and installers

The KAGAMI can display a hotel’s logo, hide certain settings and show the contractor’s contact information. Set-up is done by Bluetooth with the AIRSTAGE Remo Set app, and a refrigeration cycle monitor helps with diagnostics. On wall-mounted heat pumps and floor units, Fujitsu requires the UTY-TWRXZ2 communication kit.

What to know before installing

  • Check that your indoor unit is on the UTY-RVRU compatibility list.
  • On wall-mount and floor units, Fujitsu calls for the UTY-TWRXZ2 communication kit.
  • 2-conductor cable, 16 to 22 AWG, stranded, unshielded.
  • Mount it away from direct sun and heat sources.
  • Fujitsu shows KAGAMI in several finishes: confirm the finish you want with us.

Frequently asked questions

Is my Fujitsu unit compatible?

Fujitsu lists it for its AIRSTAGE ducted units, air handlers, cassettes and ceiling-suspended units, and for several wall-mount series. Send us your indoor unit model number and we confirm, including whether the UTY-TWRXZ2 kit is needed.

How is it different from the UTY-RNRUZ remote?

Both are wired and control up to 16 units. KAGAMI has a 4-inch colour screen, swipe navigation, mode lights and Bluetooth setup.

Does it need its own power supply?

No. It is powered at 12 V DC by the indoor unit through the same 2-wire cable.

Can you install it?

Yes. We run the cable, mount the controller and set it up, everywhere in Greater Montréal.
