The Samsung HA15B0CH1 single point breaker kit goes with the 15 and 20 kW heating elements of the R-454B Hylex™ multi-position air handlers. Samsung calls it the “Single point breaker kit for 15kW and 20kW electric heat kits” and lists it among the accessories for the MPAH air handlers, next to the heating elements.
A single connection for the large elements
The 15 kW (HA15E0CH1) and 20 kW (HA20E0CH1) elements are the largest backup heaters in the Hylex line. The HA15B0CH1 kit is used to connect them at a single point. It is not used with the 10 kW element.

Electrical connection
Cable and breaker size at the panel follow the air handler’s nameplate data and the electrical code. The work is done by a master electrician. Order the kit at the same time as the heating element so everything arrives on site together.
