GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTY-TFSXJ4 Wi-Fi Module for Non-Wall-Mounted Unit (UART)

The GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTY-TFSXJ4 Wi-Fi module and the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE module with the same number are a single part, offered under both names for the length of the transition. On January 1, 2026, Fujitsu General Limited took on the name GENERAL Inc., and nothing else moved: same manufacturer, same factories, same model numbers. This module connects to a non-wall AIRSTAGE indoor unit through a 4-conductor flat cable, supplied, draws its power from the unit and links it to the AIRSTAGE Mobile app. In the manufacturer’s listings, it is the UART-type module meant for ducted units, cassettes, air handlers and ceiling-suspended units. Our catalogue also carries the same part under the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE brand; there, GENERAL and Fujitsu name an identical product.

The whole system at your fingertips

From AIRSTAGE Mobile, the unit can be switched on, put in another mode or given a new set point without being on site, by way of a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network. For scheduling, you get a weekly timetable and group functions, and the firmware updates through the app; according to the manufacturer, the module also works with voice control. Even without a Wi-Fi access point, direct local control lets the app run the unit. A single account covers 50 units at most, with one module for each indoor unit.

The module that suits your unit

The manufacturer includes the UTY-TFSXJ4 on the submittal sheets of its R-32 AMUH air handlers, ARUH ducted units, ACUH and AUUH cassettes and ABUH suspended units, on top of several older models. On the wall-mounted unit side, a different module applies: the UTY-TFSXH4, which is USB type. With your indoor unit’s model number in hand, we validate the right module before placing the order.
