Quick facts
During the transition, the GENERAL AIRSTAGE FJ-AC-WIFI-1 wired Wi-Fi module is sold under two names, GENERAL and Fujitsu AIRSTAGE, but it is still the same part. Fujitsu General Limited gave way to GENERAL Inc. on January 1, 2026: the factories, the AIRSTAGE products and the model numbers remain the ones you know. The module connects an H-Series AIRSTAGE heat pump, GENERAL or Fujitsu branded, to your wireless network. The manufacturer presents it as the Intesis Wi-Fi device with a wired module: a wire links it to the indoor unit, whereas an infrared module would send it signals from a distance. Our catalogue also keeps online the same part under the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE brand, on the same footing as the GENERAL one.
Where infrared cannot reach
Think of a cassette set in the ceiling, a ducted unit above a dropped ceiling or an air handler tucked in a mechanical room: an infrared module seldom has a clear line of sight to any of them. With the FJ-AC-WIFI-1, the question no longer comes up, since the signal travels through a cable. It shows up in the accessory list of the manufacturer’s R-32 systems, from the wall-mounted heat pump to the multi-position unit.
Equipment listed by the manufacturer
- Altair 500 (ASUH**KPAS), Orion XLTH (ASUH**KZAS) and Orion XLTH+ wall units
- ACUH**KUAS (compact) and AUUH**KUAS (circular flow) cassettes
- ADUH**KUAS (slim) and ARUH**KUAS (medium static pressure) ducted units
- Multi-position air handlers in the AMUH**KUAS series
More than one way to add Wi-Fi
The manufacturer offers several options: the UTY-TFSXH4 USB module for wall units, the UTY-TFSXJ4 UART module for non-wall units, the FJ-IR-WIFI-1NA infrared module and this wired module. Your indoor unit’s model number is all we need to settle on the right choice before the order.

Frequently asked questions
Is my unit compatible?
The manufacturer lists it for its R-32 AIRSTAGE H-Series heat pumps: Altair 500, Orion XLTH and Orion XLTH+ wall-mount units, cassettes, ducted units and air handlers. Send us your indoor unit’s model number and we confirm before ordering.
Why the wired model rather than infrared?
The wired module does not need to see the unit. It is the answer for a hidden cassette or ducted unit with no infrared receiver in range.
Is it the same as the FJ-RC-WIFI-1NA?
No. The FJ-RC-WIFI-1NA is the older wired module the manufacturer paired with its R-410A units. For the R-32 H-Series, GENERAL lists the FJ-AC-WIFI-1.
Can you install it?
Yes. Our technicians wire it to the indoor unit and connect it to your network, everywhere in Greater Montréal.
