The Fujitsu UTY-RNRUZ5 wired remote control is a wall control with a backlit touchscreen. Connected to the indoor unit by a 2-wire cable, it draws its power from the unit and displays the room temperature. Fujitsu lists it in the submittal sheets for most of its R-32 AIRSTAGE units that do not come with a remote: air handlers, ducted units, cassettes and ceiling-suspended units.
Programming your heat pump by the week
The weekly timer takes two programs and up to 8 settings per day: set-back at night, recovery before you wake up, reduction during office hours. The remote runs up to 16 indoor units as a group, offers an occupancy sensing setting and an emergency heat function. It also handles alternating and standby operation (lead-lag).

UTY-RNRUZ5 or UTY-RNRUZ6?
Fujitsu states that the UTY-RNRUZ6 replaces the UTY-RNRUZ5. The new model adds refrigerant leak and sensor replacement alerts. For a like-for-like replacement, the UTY-RNRUZ5 remains the reference; for a new installation, we advise you based on your unit.

- Wire it with the power off, by a technician.

Is my unit compatible?
Fujitsu lists it on the submittal sheets of its R-32 AMUH air handlers, ARUH ducted units, ACUH and AUUH cassettes and ABUH ceiling-suspended units, and for several wall-mount series. Send us your model number and we confirm.
How is it different from the UTY-RNRUZ6?
Per Fujitsu, the UTY-RNRUZ6 replaces the UTY-RNRUZ5 and adds refrigerant leak and sensor replacement alerts, with buzzer and LED.
Can the displayed temperature be offset?
Yes, Fujitsu lists a room temperature offset setting.
Can you install it?
