The PMK-GJ09PHAAR94 wireless remote control is the French-language version of the OEM remote for Hitachi RAK-GJ wall units. Hitachi lists it for the airHome RAK-GJ12PHAA wall unit and for the RAK-GJ09, GJ12, GJ18 and GJ24QHAA multi-zone wall units.
A French remote for every room
On a multi-zone system, each wall unit has its own remote. In a French-speaking home, it makes sense for all of them to speak the same language: this one replaces the English version PMK-GJ09PHAAR04, for the same units. It is also used to replace a remote lost in a bedroom or an office.

A wireless remote controls one wall unit. To control several indoor units from one place, Hitachi offers the SPX-URFG1 wired remote control paired with the SPX-DST1 distributor.

Will it work on all my multi-zone wall units?
On those whose model is RAK-GJ09, GJ12, GJ18 or GJ24QHAA, yes. Other indoor unit types have their own remote.
How is it different from the PMK-GJ09PHAAR04?
