At ACD, the cassette, ducted, console and floor-ceiling units exist only as heads of the MPD multi-zone. We mix them with wall heads to suit each room.

The math

Certified heating capacity at -8 °C, divided by 1,000, times $120 for an ENERGY STAR cold-climate unit, or $50 for another ENERGY STAR unit. Example: FLEXX 5 tons, 44,000 ÷ 1,000 × $120 = $5,280, an indicative amount.

The conditions

ENERGY STAR required; outdoor unit of at least 12,000 BTU/h; aid capped at 100% of the pre-tax cost; claim within 9 months of installation. Residential participation guide v1.10, Sept. 15, 2026.

Warranty: the ACD standard warranty, for ACD equipment installed in Québec after January 1, 2021.
Refrigerant: the whole ACD lineup runs on R-410A (GWP of 2,088 per ENERGY STAR).
Certifications: ENERGY STAR lists the Révolution 12,000 and 24,000 and the four FLEXX central systems on our pages; no Éclypse or Commodore23 model.
