Greentek air exchangers: the right box, at the right airflow
Greentek is the HRV and ERV brand Systemair builds in Canada, in Bouctouche. Three residential cabinets that install differently: SOLACE upright, PREMIER flat, PROFILE in the ceiling, plus the LCH commercial line. First we pick where it goes, then how much air it must move, then we install it across Montreal, Laval, Longueuil and the North and South Shores.

SOLACE
Vertical platform with a counterflow core and internal recirculation defrost.
- Houses and multi-unit homes
- 9 models · 5 HRV · 4 ERV
- Net airflow at 0.4 in: 102 to 252 cfm
HVI-certified net airflow at 0.4 in. w.g., in cfm. HVI directory current to Oct. 7, 2026.
At Greentek, the family follows the space you have.
Tell us where the unit goes and whether a drain is close by: we show the family we would start with, and why.
A floor drain near the unit?

SOLACE
Upright, top ports. Houses and multi-unit homes.
HRV or ERV: both work. An HRV makes condensate that goes to the drain.
5 HRV · 4 ERV · net airflow 102 to 252 cfm
Pick the sizeSize is read in cubic feet per minute, not in the name.
Slide your living area: the dots are the HVI-certified net airflows of our residential models, and the ones that cover your area show below.
8 model(s) cover 1,600 sq ft, from smallest to largest airflow:
AirGreen rule of thumb, the same as on our product pages: 0.35 air changes per hour, 9 ft ceilings. Final sizing is done room by room (CSA F326) at the estimate. Airflows: HVI directory, Section III, current to October 7, 2026.

Greentek designs the exchanger and backs it. AirGreen picks it with you, sizes the airflow and installs it. Each does what it does best.

Same cabinet, two cores: one keeps the heat, the other some moisture too.
Switch to see what each core does, and how many of each we sell per family.
The HRV
The core moves heat from stale air to fresh air, not moisture. In winter it makes condensate, so it needs a drain. At Greentek, an HRV’s polypropylene core carries a lifetime warranty.
HRVs sold, by family
PROFILE has no HRV: the whole line is ERV.
How much recovery is left when it is -25 °C outside.
For a new home, Part 11 of Québec’s Construction Code asks for 54% under 6,000 degree-days (Greater Montreal) and 60% above. Pick the threshold: each bar shows whether the model passes.
23 of 24 reach 54% at -25 °C.
Sensible recovery efficiency at -25 °C, from Greentek’s sheets and brochures. * The PROFILE P 0.7E is no longer on Greentek’s site or in the HVI directory.
At the same airflow, the -EC models draw about 60% fewer watts.
Four pairs we sell, side by side, with the wattage measured by HVI. The EC model is in green.
-58 % less power with the EC motors
Same HVI test airflow for both: a direct comparison. kWh/yr: HVI wattage × 8,760 h, if the unit runs all year at that airflow.
SOLACE 1.6E-EC, PROFILE 1.2E-D-M: every piece means something.
Tap a model: we decode it piece by piece, from Greentek’s documents.
SOLACE 1.6E-EC
For a store, a school or an office: 465 to 1,219 cfm.
The LCH units bring in tempered fresh air. They are not HVI-rated: only the core is AHRI-certified, and efficiency is measured at 1.7 °C. The model is chosen on quotation.
