ELIOS e25 wall unit · previous generation
The e25 reached 25.5 SEER2 on R-410A, and it alone had a 6,000 head.
Five listings from 6,000 to 24,000: heating down to −25 °C per the submittals, no low-temperature cutout, and outdoor units shared with the e-Match. ELIOS’s June 2026 bulletin ranks it “Good” and pairs it with the EMC.

Your e25: R-410A
It keeps running and is repaired with R-410A. ELIOS’s June 19, 2026 bulletin announces the phase-out of R-410A in 2026 for new equipment.
The replacement: R-454B
The EMC and EBC use R-454B, classed A2L. The two refrigerants are never mixed: a replacement is a complete system, after checking the existing lines.

How Hydro-Québec computes it
The amount follows the certified heating capacity at −8 °C: $120 per 1,000 BTU/h for a cold-climate ENERGY STAR heat pump, $50 for a standard ENERGY STAR heat pump.
- Outdoor unit of 12,000 BTU/h or more.
- Capped at 100% of the cost of the work.
- Apply within 9 months of the installation.

Is the e25 still sold?
It is an R-410A series that ELIOS’s June 2026 bulletin pairs with the EMC. Availability of a unit is confirmed at the time of the quotation.
Does my e25 6,000 have a direct replacement?
Not size for size: the EMC starts at 9,000. For a small room, we check whether a 9,000 fits.
Why does the brochure say −15 °C and the submittal −25 °C?
The e25A brochure’s °C row says −15 °C, its °F row says −13 °F (−25 °C), and the submittals say −25 °C. We go with the submittals.
What LogisVert amount for an e25?
On the Oct. 25, 2026 list: $450 (12,000), $745 (18,000), $810 (24,000), at the standard ENERGY STAR rate. The 6,000 and 9,000 are not on it.
