The Élios WF0C1 Wi-Fi dongle adds remote control to Élios wall-mounted heat pumps and cassettes that do not come with built-in Wi-Fi. Once plugged into the indoor unit and connected to your network, it lets you adjust the unit from your phone, whether you are home or away.
An accessory specified by the manufacturer
Élios lists the WF0C1 as an optional Wi-Fi dongle in the submittal sheets for its EMC (EWHMA) and EBC (EWHBA) wall-mounted heat pumps and its cassettes: GKHRA from 9,000 to 18,000 BTU, GQHRA24, GQHLA36 and GQHLA48. The wall unit manual describes controlling the unit by mobile phone over a wireless connection.

Before installation
The Élios manual requires that access to the unit’s USB port, replacement and maintenance be done by qualified personnel. Plan one dongle per indoor unit and a Wi-Fi signal in the room. If you prefer a wall control, the KJRSAALW1 programmable controller also adds Wi-Fi.

What to know before installing
- Check that your indoor unit is among the models that list the WF0C1.
- Per the Élios manual, access to the unit’s USB port is reserved for qualified staff.
- Make sure your Wi-Fi network covers the room where the indoor unit is.
- A programmable Wi-Fi wall controller, such as the KJRSAALW1, is another way to add Wi-Fi.

Is my Élios unit compatible?
The WF0C1 is listed in the Élios submittals for EMC and EBC wall units and for GKHRA, GQHRA24, GQHLA36 and GQHLA48 cassettes. Send us your indoor unit’s model number and we confirm before ordering.
Do I need one per unit?
Yes. The dongle plugs into one indoor unit; each unit you want to control remotely needs its own.
Can I plug it in myself?
The Élios manual asks that USB port access, replacement and service be done by qualified staff. We fit it and join it to your network.
Can you install it?
Yes. We plug the dongle into your indoor unit, join it to your Wi-Fi and test remote control, everywhere in Greater Montréal.
