The Élios K0918AGRL grille is the front panel of the 9,000, 12,000 and 18,000 BTU GKHRA compact 4-way cassettes. It is the only part of the unit you see on the ceiling: it draws room air in at the centre and blows it out through four louvers. Élios designates it as the required grille in the submittal sheets for the GKHRA09, GKHRA12 and GKHRA18; it is ordered with the cassette.
A grille that is part of how the unit works
The panel is not just a cover. It carries the louver motor and plugs into the connectors in the indoor unit’s control box. Without it, the cassette cannot be commissioned properly.

- Panel: 620 mm (24.4 in) per side.
- Ceiling opening: 600 mm (23.6 in).
- Cassette body: 570 mm (22.4 in).
Installing the panel
First remove the return grille, fasten the panel to the unit with four M5 screws, then reconnect the louver motor and the control box connectors. Height is adjusted through the openings at the four corners, without touching the wiring or the drain. For a cassette of 24,000 BTU and up, you need the large Q2448AGRL grille instead.

What to know before installing
- The ceiling opening is 600 mm (23.6 in) for a 570 mm (22.4 in) cassette body.

- Large 24,000 to 48,000 BTU cassettes take the Q2448AGRL grille.

Does my Élios cassette run without the grille?
No. The Élios submittals list it as a required grille: it carries the louver motor and plugs into the unit’s control box.
Which grille for a 24,000 BTU cassette?
The large Q2448AGRL grille, used on the GQHRA24, GQHLA36 and GQHLA48. The K0918AGRL is only for 9,000 to 18,000 BTU GKHRA units.
What ceiling opening is needed?
Per the Élios installation guide, 600 mm (23.6 in) for compact cassettes, with a 620 mm panel covering the edge.
