GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTY-XWZXZ5 Dry Contact Kit (with Error Output)

The GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTY-XWZXZ5 dry contact kit and the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE kit with the same number are the same part. The name change dates from January 1, 2026: Fujitsu General Limited, now under the Paloma Rheem Holdings banner, became GENERAL Inc. without changing factories or model numbers. Known to the manufacturer as the “External Connect Kit”, this harness lets a wall-mounted or floor AIRSTAGE heat pump talk to a building management system, a timer or an external contact. Where the UTY-XWZX harness sticks to on/off and run status, this one adds an error output and lets you turn the input into a forced stop. Controlling the unit and monitoring it from outside

The orange and yellow wires form the input: you connect a dry contact to them which, depending on the chosen setting, starts and stops the unit or forces it off. In forced stop mode, the unit stays off as long as the contact is active, even if someone tries to restart it with the remote. On the output side, the blue and purple wires show whether the unit is running, while the red and white wires report a normal or error status. For the manager of a hotel, a rental building or a shop, it is a way to know on the spot that a unit is in fault.
