The GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTY-LBTUH pairs an infrared receiver with a wireless remote for AIRSTAGE ABUH…KUAS ceiling-suspended units. It is the same long-standing manufacturer under a new corporate name: Fujitsu General Limited has been GENERAL Inc. since January 1, 2026, with the same factories. From GENERAL, you receive the same part sold under the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE brand, which the submittal sheets list under the name “IR Receiver Kit w/ Wireless Remote Controller (Ceiling Susp.)”.

A handheld remote for the suspended unit

In stores, workshops and large rooms, the ceiling-suspended unit often takes over where a wall unit would not have the reach needed. There are two options for controlling it: one of the manufacturer’s wired controllers, such as the KAGAMI UTY-RVRU, or this wireless kit. The handheld remote is the obvious pick when several people adjust the comfort of the same space and nobody wants a control fixed to the wall.
