GENERAL AIRSTAGE IR Receiver Kit with Wireless Remote Control (Ducted and Air Handler) – UTY-LBTUM

The GENERAL AIRSTAGE UTY-LBTUM brings an infrared receiver and a wireless remote together in one kit. Two names for a single product: on January 1, 2026, Fujitsu General Limited, acquired by Paloma Rheem Holdings, became GENERAL Inc. Buying the kit under the GENERAL name means buying the same part sold under the Fujitsu AIRSTAGE brand.

It is meant for units installed out of sight, which a remote’s signal cannot reach directly: ARUH medium static pressure ducted units, ADUH slim ducted units and AMUH multi-position air handlers, whether they carry the GENERAL or the Fujitsu name.

A ducted unit you control like a wall unit

The ducted unit disappears into a ceiling, an attic or a closet, while the receiver goes in the room being served, recessed into the wall or ceiling, or surface-mounted. A 5 m cable connects it to the indoor unit, and optional wire C lets you go up to 10 m. Day to day, you use a handheld remote that then goes back on its wall holder.

• A wireless remote with its holder and a pair of R03/LR03 batteries
• Two manuals, one for installation, the other for operation

Where to put the receiver

Find a spot where the signal gets through well, sheltered from direct sunlight and air streams, at 1 m or more from any fluorescent lighting. In normal use, the remote’s batteries last about a year. Those who prefer a control fixed to the wall can opt for a GENERAL wired controller, such as the KAGAMI UTY-RVRU.
