A remote that matches the airHome 800
According to Hitachi, the airHome 800 combines FrostWash 3.0 cleaning, an occupancy sensor, Smart Eco mode and HeatForce technology for heating in extreme cold. A universal remote is often limited to on/off, mode and temperature. The genuine remote recognizes every button and every setting designed for the unit.

Remote and app
The Wi-Fi adapter is included with the airHome 800: the airCloud Go app controls the unit remotely, the remote control works in the room. The two complement each other. Make sure your unit's model starts with RAK-XJ: RAK-DJ and RAK-GJ wall units use other remotes.

It may handle on/off and temperature, but not always the airHome 800’s own features. The original remote supports them all.

My wall unit is a RAK-GJ, is this the right one?
No. RAK-GJ units take the PMK-GJ09PHAAR04. This one is for RAK-XJ units.
