  • Single-family home, semi-detached home, row house, four-season cottage, condo, multiplex or residential building with 20 or more units (provided the installation is in an individual dwelling and not in common areas).

  • Located in Quebec, powered by Hydro-Québec or another recognized electrical network.

  • Used year-round.

• Mandatory technical requirements:

  • Complete new system, purchased in Quebec.

  • Outdoor unit + one or more wall-mounted indoor units .

  • ENERGY STAR certification (Hydro-Québec’s list of eligible heat pumps).

  • Installation carried out by a company with:

    • A valid RBQ license

LogisVert subsidy amounts for multi-zone heat pumps

Multi-zone heat pumps are eligible in two distinct categories:

1. ENERGY STAR heat pump

$50 per 1,000 BTU/h at -8 °C, based on the system’s heating capacity at -8 °C.

2. ENERGY STAR cold-climate heat pump

If the multi-zone system is ENERGY STAR cold-climate certified, the amount granted is $120 per 1,000 BTU/h at -8 °C (for example $2,160 for 18,000 BTU/h at -8 °C), with no mandatory air sealing work.
