The 17317100A36594 is a genuine wired wall controller for the Magic Pro system. The brochure also presents the system as working with most 24 V thermostats, and Direct Air’s RS485 control as the one that uses the full modulation.

Which heater kit for my Magic Pro air handler?
Per our product pages: 5 and 10 kW for 18K to 36K air handlers, 15 kW for 24K to 60K, 20 kW for 36K to 60K and 25 kW for the 60K. The power is chosen from the house’s backup need; we confirm the part with Direct Air before ordering.
What maximum power does Direct Air publish?
The Magic Pro brochure mentions an optional kit “up to 20 kW”. For the 25 kW on our product page, we confirm compatibility with Direct Air before any order.
Can I use it in another air handler?
No. A heater kit must be the one the manufacturer specifies for the air handler. This one is for Direct Air Magic Pro air handlers DIRM-18 to DIRM-60MAGICPRO20-AH.
Where do I find my air handler number?
On the air handler’s rating plate, indoors. It starts with DIRM- and ends with -AH (for example DIRM-36MAGICPRO20-AH). Send us a photo of the plate: that is the safest.
Can you install the part?
Yes. We install the kit or the controller in the Magic Pro system and check each mode, throughout Greater Montreal.
