DIRECT AIR × AirGreen · Floor-ceiling

Floor-ceiling: one unit, two ways to install it.

The range has 4 listings at 18,000 and 24,000 BTU/h, with the Heat Xtreme Pro or DA25 outdoor unit. The same DIRM-xxHP-CF head goes at the bottom of the wall, like a console, or under the ceiling. With the Heat Xtreme Pro, NEEP lists a −30 °C point for it. Here are the figures and the space each position needs.

Questions

What people ask us, and what the sources say.

Floor or ceiling: what changes?

It is the same unit. On the floor it stands at the bottom of the wall; on the ceiling it lies against it. It measures 1,068 × 675 × 235 mm, with wide-angle air distribution and a built-in drain pump, per the brochures.

Do I need 18,000 or 24,000 BTU/h?

Both use the same cabinet. At −15 °C (ENERGY STAR): 16,800 and 25,000 BTU/h for the Heat Xtreme Pro, 13,000 and 18,200 for the DA25. The size is chosen from the room’s load calculation.

Is it loud?

Per the brochures, at high, medium and low speed: 48 · 44.5 · 41 dB(A) (18,000) and 51 · 47 · 42 dB(A) (24,000) for the Heat Xtreme Pro; 45.5 · 43 · 39 and 51 · 47.5 · 42 dB(A) for the DA25.

How much does LogisVert give?

On the October 14, 2026 list: $1,440 and $2,280 for the Heat Xtreme Pro (18,000 and 24,000), $640 and $1,920 for the DA25. The 18,000 DA25 is not cold climate, so it is paid at the base rate.

Down to what temperature does it heat?

NEEP publishes a −30 °C point for the Heat Xtreme Pro (8,300 and 12,800 BTU/h at most) and −25 °C for the DA25 (7,500 and 11,500 BTU/h).
