Quick facts
A warm floor and well-tuned radiators with a 10 kW electric boiler
A 10 kW boiler for a home heated with hot water
Hot-water heating has its fans: gentle warmth rising from the floor, radiators that stay warm for a long time, no blowing air. The Conforto AT1025 supplies this kind of system with 10 kW at 240 V, or 34,100 BTU/h according to the manufacturer. It suits a Laval townhouse whose entire ground floor sits on a radiant floor, a South Shore duplex heated by radiators, or the replacement of a wall-mounted electric boiler of similar output.
Its two 5,000 W elements work in two stages, with element rotation. When the loop calls for little, a single element heats; the second joins during colder periods.
What to plan for in the house
Electricity first. The AT1025 connects at 240 V single phase on a dedicated circuit; Conforto lists a minimum circuit ampacity of 59.6 A and maximum protection of 60 A. Before proposing this model, we therefore check that your panel has the capacity needed.
Water next. The boiler connects with 1 1/4 in NPT fittings and requires a minimum flow of 3.4 gpm for a 20 °F ΔT, which guides the choice of circulator and piping. A 30 psi relief valve and a temperature and pressure gauge come with the unit.
Space last. Being wall-mounted, it weighs about 70 lb (32 kg) as shipped and frees the mechanical room floor for an indirect water heater, for example. The controller can manage that water heater with its own setpoint and give it priority. Its immersion sensor, at the heat exchanger outlet, prevents short cycling.
How we install it
An AirGreen technician visits at no charge to assess the house, the existing loop or the radiant-floor project, and the electrical panel. You then receive a written quote that details the boiler and the loop components.
At installation, we mount the boiler on the wall, make the water and electrical connections, fill and purge the circuit, then commission the system. We adjust the heating setpoint to your emitters, floor or radiators, and the hot-water setpoint if an indirect water heater is connected. Conforto requires yearly maintenance to keep its limited lifetime warranty: we explain it before we leave.

A 10 kW boiler for radiant floors and radiators
The AT1025 heats the water of a hydronic loop and sends it to the floors, radiators or baseboards. Conforto designs it for low-temperature radiant heating as well as high-temperature baseboards.
- Radiant floor across a whole ground floor or basement
- Townhouse or duplex heated by hot-water radiators
- Replacing a wall-mounted electric boiler of similar output
- A system that also makes domestic hot water with an indirect water heater
Specifications
From the manufacturer’s documentation. A value the manufacturer does not publish is not listed.
What to know before installing
- 240 V single-phase supply: minimum circuit ampacity of 59.6 A and maximum protection of 60 A, per Conforto. We check that your panel can take it.
- Minimum flow of 3.4 gpm through the boiler (20 °F ΔT).
- No modulation: the boiler works in stages. The manufacturer’s documents do not mention an outdoor sensor.
- The indirect water heater is sold separately; the circulator and expansion tank are chosen for your loop.
- Conforto’s limited lifetime warranty covers indoor residential use in Canada and requires yearly maintenance.

Frequently asked questions
Is it suited to a radiant floor?
Yes. Conforto designs the AT series for low-temperature radiant heating as well as high-temperature baseboards and radiators. We set the heating setpoint to match the emitters in your home.
Does the boiler adjust to the outdoor temperature?
Conforto’s documents do not mention an outdoor sensor. The boiler follows a heating setpoint and turns on its two 5,000 W elements in stages, without modulation.
What electrical circuit is needed?
A 240 V single-phase circuit. Conforto lists a minimum circuit ampacity of 59.6 A and maximum protection of 60 A for the AT1025.
What is the manufacturer’s warranty?
Conforto offers a limited lifetime warranty: section A of 5 years on the heat exchanger and the components installed by the manufacturer; heat exchanger covered at no charge for the first 20 years, then prorated. Indoor residential use in Canada (for commercial use: 2 years on parts, 10 years on the heat exchanger). Yearly maintenance required; labour and shipping excluded.
Where do you install?
Across Greater Montreal: Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, the North Shore and the South Shore. The on-site estimate is free.
