Quick facts
When one boiler is no longer enough: the 28 kW Conforto system
What the AT2800 is
In the Conforto AT series, the largest single boiler delivers 24 kW. For hot-water loops that need more, Conforto publishes systems of two boilers installed in parallel. The AT2800 is the first of those systems: 28 kW at 240 V, or 95,600 BTU/h according to the manufacturer. Conforto’s brochure lists it under the code AT280010C15.
In practice, you receive two AT series boilers, each in its own wall-mounted cabinet of about 70 lb (32 kg) as shipped, connected to the loop with 1 1/4 in NPT fittings. They share the series’ control logic: staged operation, element rotation, an immersion sensor against short cycling, a domestic hot-water setpoint with priority and freeze protection.
Which buildings it suits
The AT2800 is meant for large residences whose loop exceeds what a single AT boiler can supply, for Montreal plexes and small apartment buildings heated by a shared loop, or for a Laval commercial space heated by radiators. It is also an option when replacing an existing two-boiler electric system.
Conforto’s limited lifetime warranty covers indoor residential use in Canada; for commercial use, the manufacturer provides 2 years on parts and 10 years on the heat exchanger. Yearly maintenance is required in both cases.
What to plan for
Two units means twice the wall space and parallel piping that must be well designed. On the electrical side, Conforto does not publish data for the complete system: it is given for each boiler. We therefore work out the supply from the two units delivered, and the quote states it clearly, including any upgrade to the electrical service.
The loop must also be designed for two units: flow, circulator, purging. Conforto does not publish a minimum flow for the complete system; we therefore start from the requirements of each boiler delivered and check the existing piping before settling on the circulator.
What AirGreen’s installation covers
Everything starts with a free on-site estimate: existing loop, emitters, electrical service, available space. We confirm the exact make-up of the system before ordering, then give you a detailed written quote.
At installation, our technicians mount both boilers, run the parallel piping and the electrical connections, fill and purge the loop, then commission the system and set the setpoints. We then explain the yearly maintenance to the person responsible for the building. AirGreen is a family business established in Montreal for more than fifteen years, RBQ licence 5645-9605-01.
In Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, on the North Shore and the South Shore, ask for your free estimate and your written quote. Financing is available.
The first two-boiler step of the AT series
In the Conforto AT series, the largest single boiler is 24 kW. To go further, Conforto publishes systems of two boilers installed in parallel; the AT2800 is the first, at 28 kW.
- Large residence whose hot-water loop exceeds what a single AT boiler can supply
- Plex or small apartment building heated by a shared loop
- Commercial space heated by radiators or a radiant floor
- Replacing an existing two-boiler electric system

What to know before installing
- This is two units: plan wall space and piping for two boilers installed in parallel.
- Conforto does not publish electrical data for the complete system; it is given for each boiler. We plan the power supply from that data during the estimate.
- The AT series controller works in stages, without modulation; the manufacturer’s documents do not mention an outdoor sensor.
- The circulator and the other loop components are listed in the quote.
- Conforto limited lifetime warranty for indoor residential use in Canada; for commercial use: 2 years on parts, 10 years on the heat exchanger. Yearly maintenance required; labour and shipping excluded.

Frequently asked questions
Why two boilers instead of one?
In the AT series, the largest single boiler is 24 kW. For 28 kW, Conforto publishes a system of two boilers installed in parallel, totalling 95,600 BTU/h at 240 V.
Which boilers make up the system?
The system is delivered as two AT series boilers. We confirm the exact make-up before ordering and state it in the written quote.
What power supply is needed?
Conforto publishes electrical data for each boiler, not for the complete system. We work out the supply for both units during the free estimate and write it into the quote.
How much space should be planned?
Two wall-mounted units of about 70 lb (32 kg) each as shipped, connected with 1 1/4 in NPT fittings, plus the piping that ties them into the loop in parallel.
What warranty does Conforto offer?
A limited lifetime warranty for indoor residential use in Canada: 5 years on the heat exchanger and the components installed by the manufacturer (section A), then the heat exchanger at no charge for the first 20 years and prorated after that. For commercial use: 2 years on parts and 10 years on the heat exchanger. Yearly maintenance required.
