The Fujitsu long life filter is the filtration option Fujitsu offers for its medium static pressure ducted units, the R-32 ARUH…KUAS models and the previous ARU…RGLX generation. It traps dust before it reaches the coil and the fan.
Three sizes, based on the unit’s capacity
A ducted unit is hidden in a ceiling or an attic and distributes air through ducts to several rooms. Its filter therefore works for the whole zone it serves. Fujitsu matches each size to a capacity group, shown in its units’ submittal sheets.

Maintenance
A clogged filter reduces airflow, and with it the comfort and efficiency of the heat pump. Check it at least at every change of season, and cut power to the unit before opening it. On a ducted unit installed in a hard-to-reach spot, we can include it in the annual maintenance.

Frequently asked questions
Which filter for my ducted unit?
Fujitsu lists UTD-LFNC for 12,000 BTU units, UTD-LFNB for 18, 24 and 30,000 BTU and UTD-LFNA for 36, 42 and 48,000 BTU. The number after ARUH or ARU in the model number is the capacity.
Does it fit a slim duct unit?
Fujitsu lists it for its medium static ducted units (ARUH and ARU…RGLX). For another type of unit, send us the model number.
How often should I check it?
At least every change of season, more often during renovations or with pets.
