The PHKF160PAQ1 front grille is the original standard panel for airCore 700 4-way cassettes from 18,000 to 48,000 BTU (PCI-B18UFA1DQ to PCI-B48UFA1DQ). It closes off the unit at the ceiling, draws air back in at the centre and distributes it in four directions.

One grille for the entire PCI lineup

The airCore 700 technical catalogue gives this grille as 950 × 950 mm (37-13/32 in per side) and 62 mm thick. The same grille fits every PCI cassette, from 18,000 to 48,000 BTU. Hitachi classifies it as an optional indoor unit accessory: it is ordered with the cassette.

Three possible front panels

  • PHKF160PAQ1: standard grille.
  • P-AP160NAE1: grille with motion sensor and radiant sensor.
  • P-GP160NAP*US: white Silent-Iconic front panel.

Mini-cassette or cassette?

The 9,000 and 12,000 BTU PCIM mini-cassettes take a different grille, the PHKM50PAQ1, 620 mm per side. The unit’s model number, on its nameplate, removes any doubt.
