Quick facts
The Fujitsu UTY-TTRXZ1 24 V thermostat interface lets you control a Fujitsu AIRSTAGE heat pump with a standard 24 V wall thermostat, like the one on a central system. Fujitsu lists it as the "24V Thermostat Interface" in the accessory list for its R-32 H-series systems.
The thermostat you already know
When a furnace or central system is replaced with a ducted heat pump, many customers want to keep a conventional wall thermostat or install a 24 V smart thermostat. The UTY-TTRXZ1 makes this possible: the Fujitsu heat pump follows the thermostat. The interface is also listed for wall-mounted units, cassettes and floor units.
Two Fujitsu requirements
- Single control: the interface must not be used with any other control, whether a central controller, a remote, a Wi-Fi module or a building management interface.
- Communication kit on wall-mounted and floor units: UTY-TWRXZ2, UTY-TWRXZ4 or UTY-TWRXZ3 depending on the unit.
Interface alone or TTRXZ1-KIT
Fujitsu also offers a kit that combines the UTY-TTRXZ1 interface, the UTY-WIFI plug and a 24 V transformer. We tell you the right option based on your unit and your thermostat.

- Keeping an existing thermostat when replacing a central system
- Ducted units or air handlers run like a central system
- A 24 V smart thermostat chosen by the customer
- Buildings that want the same thermostat in every zone

What to know before installing
- Fujitsu states the interface must not be combined with any other control (central controller, remote, Wi-Fi adapter, BMS interface).
- On wall-mount and floor units, Fujitsu requires the unit’s communication kit: UTY-TWRXZ2 (Altair, Orion XLTH), UTY-TWRXZ4 (Orion XLTH+) or UTY-TWRXZ3 (AGUH floor).
- The interface alone includes no UTY-WIFI plug or transformer; Fujitsu groups them in the TTRXZ1-KIT.
- Thermostat choice and wiring are done with a technician.

Frequently asked questions
Is my unit compatible?
Fujitsu lists the UTY-TTRXZ1 among the accessories of its R-32 AIRSTAGE H-Series systems: Altair 500, Orion XLTH and Orion XLTH+ wall units, ACUH and AUUH cassettes, ADUH and ARUH ducted units, AMUH air handlers, AGUH floor units and the ceiling-suspended unit. Send us the model number and we confirm.
Can I keep Fujitsu Wi-Fi with a 24 V thermostat?
No. Fujitsu states the interface cannot be used with any other control, including a Wi-Fi adapter. For remote control, a connected 24 V thermostat does the job.
What is in the TTRXZ1-KIT?
Per Fujitsu: the UTY-TTRXZ1 interface, the UTY-WIFI plug and a 24 V transformer. We tell you which to order for your installation.
Can you install it?
Yes. We fit the interface, the required communication kit and the thermostat, everywhere in Greater Montréal.
