Two compressors take four heads: RAM-G36N4 and RAM-G42N5. The RAM-G42N5 gets $1,500 of LogisVert, the RAM-G36N4 $1,250. Both heat down to -20°C according to Hitachi.

Our 4-zone systems come with wall heads. If a room needs something else, the mini-cassette, floor console and slim ducted heads connect to the same compressor: we combine them on quotation.

The heads have a built-in R-32 leak detector. The alarm is on the head or on the receiver kit (optional, included with the wireless remote), depending on the model.

Without registration within 60 days, the Hitachi warranty is 7 years on the compressor and 5 years on parts. We do the registration for you.
We register your unit within 60 days: that is what takes the Hitachi warranty from 7 and 5 years to 10 years.
Since October 5, 2026, Québec’s Consumer Protection Act grants new heat pumps a 6-year warranty of good working order. At AirGreen, it includes parts, labour and travel.
A complete professional maintenance once a year, with the invoice as proof. Manufacturers require it before supplying a warranty part.

The RAM-G42N5 has more power (30,000 BTU/h at -8°C versus 25,000), takes a fifth head and gets $1,500 of LogisVert versus $1,250. The choice depends on room sizes: we confirm it during the visit.
