What Midea built into the Midea28.
The features Midea states for this series.
The filter sits on top of the unit and attaches with magnets: easy to remove and clean, even often, according to Midea.
The fan wheel comes out for a thorough cleaning, and the evaporator becomes reachable.
When the room has been empty for over 30 minutes, the unit lowers its operating frequency to save energy.
In deep cold, the compressor gets medium-temperature vapor to heat harder. Midea states 100% heat down to -25 °C and operation down to -30 °C.

No question matches. Write to us or call 514 316-2973.
According to Midea, it runs down to -30 °C and keeps 100% of its heat down to -25 °C, thanks to the vapor injection (EVI) of its Extreme Heat outdoor unit.
Both heat down to -30 °C according to Midea. The Midea35 is the most efficient in summer (SEER2 29.4 in 12,000 BTU/h) and gives the highest maximum heat at -15 °C. The Midea28 gives more certified heat at -8 °C in 9,000 and 12,000 BTU/h, keeps 100% of its heat down to -25 °C and goes up to 33,000 BTU/h.
That is what ENERGY STAR certifies: 12,000 BTU/h at 8 °C and at -8 °C for both (AHRI numbers 215471380 and 215471381). The 9,000 is still a 9,000 for cooling, and it does not qualify for LogisVert.
The 33,000 BTU/h: $3,840, per the Hydro-Québec formula (32,000 BTU/h at -8 °C × $120). The 9,000 does not qualify.
Yes: our Midea multi-zones connect Midea28 wall heads to an 18,000 to 48,000 BTU/h compressor, for 2 to 6 rooms. See our Midea multi-zones.
At Midea, Wi-Fi control of wall units goes through an optional module, with the Midea SmartHome app. The quote says what is included.
For the first owner of a single-family home: 7 years on the compressor and 5 years on parts, or 12 years on both if the unit is registered within 60 days. Any other use: 5 years compressor, 1 year parts. Next owner: 5 and 5. Midea excludes labour and refrigerant.
On the ALL EASY PRO units (Midea25, 28 and 35), the filter is on top and held by magnets, according to Midea: take it out and rinse it. For a full cleaning of the unit, see our wall unit cleaning service.
