Midea in Montreal: the EVOX G3 goes in block by block and heats down to -30°C.
According to Midea, the EVOX G3 central heat pump delivers 100% of its heat down to -25°C and keeps running down to -30°C. Its indoor unit comes in three modules that lock together without screws. Around it: four wall-mounted series, multi-zone systems for 2 to 6 rooms and an add-on that keeps your furnace. We choose with you and install across Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, the South Shore and the North Shore.

Midea promises 100% of the heat down to -25°C. Here are the certified numbers.
Pick a size: the ENERGY STAR certified heat at 8°C, -8°C and -15°C, next to the rated capacity. It’s the Midea we feature most in our projects: 210 of our 454 published Midea articles.

Your furnace stays. The heat pump goes on top.
The add-on is the EVOX G3 outdoor unit and a Midea coil set on your existing furnace. Twelve combinations in our catalogue, each with its AHRI number and a verified LogisVert amount.
EVOX G3 outdoor unit (MO1HE or MO1SE) + Midea MAAHE coil. The coil is chosen for your furnace and ductwork at the visit.

22, 25, 28, 35: the number tracks SEER2. Heat doesn’t always follow.
Our four Midea wall units carry a number that echoes the highest SEER2 of each Midea range. Pick a size: all four side by side, with certified numbers. At 12,000 BTU/h, the Midea28 gives more heat at -8°C than the Midea35.

Up to 12 years on parts and compressor. Here are the conditions.
Midea’s limited warranty goes from 7 years on the compressor and 5 years on parts to 12 years on both when the unit is registered within 60 days of installation, for the first owner of a single-family home. Pick your case.
