The Marguerite-D’Youville RCM: houses, semis and condos
In the Marguerite-D’Youville RCM, in Montérégie, AirGreen serves 6 municipalities. Single-family homes, semi-detached houses and newer condos dominate. A wall-mounted heat pump is often enough for an open-plan space; a multi-storey house benefits from a multi-zone system, and a house with ducts from a central heat pump. Our teams cover the whole region from our Boucherville showroom, including Sainte-Julie, Varennes, Calixa-Lavallée and Contrecoeur.

Where to install the outdoor unit in the Marguerite-D’Youville RCM
Balcony, terrace, side wall or flat roof: the location is decided on site. We consider the distance to neighbours, noise, defrost water drainage in winter, access for maintenance and municipal rules and, in a condo, the syndicate's rules. Rules change from one town to the next: before installing, check your town's page.
Humid summers, cold winters: choosing the right capacity
In the Marguerite-D’Youville RCM, as everywhere in Greater Montréal, summers can be hot and humid and winters harsh. A unit that is too small can't keep up during heat waves; one that is too big cycles on and off without drying the air properly. That's why we measure rooms, windows and insulation before recommending a capacity. A cold-climate heat pump also keeps heating efficiently in winter.
Repair, maintain, replace
Our refrigeration technicians repair all brands, including ones we did not install: in the Marguerite-D’Youville RCM, we have worked on Midea, GREE, Fujitsu, Sharp and Goodman units, among others. A spring maintenance visit, before the heat arrives, keeps efficiency and air quality up. And when an old unit costs more to repair than to replace, we tell you plainly, with the price explained before any work.
