C22, C28, 4C22, 4C28: two numbers and a “4” to understand.
The 22 or the 28 tells you how cold it can be outside while the unit still heats. The 4 in front of the name tells you the refrigerant. Pick a series, then a size: we show the LogisVert amount found at Hydro-Québec, or why there isn’t one.

At -20°C, which CanAir units still heat?
Move the slider. We compare the heating operating range CanAir publishes, not the capacity: the colder it gets, the more capacity drops. Sizing and backup heat are worked out at the visit.

CanAir 4C28 multi-zone systems (R-454B) heat down to -30°C. How many rooms do you want to heat? We show the compressors that take them and their LogisVert amount, which covers the whole system.
3 rooms: each room gets its own wall head, and a single 4C28MC outdoor unit runs them all.
Each compressor has its own AHRI number and a single LogisVert amount, whatever the number of heads. The size of each head is chosen at the visit, room by room.
Have ductwork? A 4CDH heats through it down to -30°C.
Two ways to do it. The central system replaces your electric furnace with the 4CDH indoor unit. The add-on keeps your furnace and adds a CanAir coil to it. Pick one, then the size in tons.

It’s the 4CDH indoor unit of the central system, with optional electric elements from 5 to 25 kW. Same AHRI number as the central: one LogisVert amount per system.
Included with the 4CDH central system, per the CanAir brochure. For the add-on, we confirm the controls in the quote.
With the add-on, we install the heat pump and the coil. We don’t touch the burner or the gas or oil supply.
