FUJITSU AIRSTAGE three-zone: three rooms, one outdoor unit.
Three heads on an Aquila 24,000, 36,000 or 45,000, or on an Aquila XLTH that heats down to -26 °C. The best-rated Fujitsu multi-zone of all is in fact a three-zone: the Aquila XLTH 24,000, SEER2 23.5 and HSPF2 11.5.
Aquila, the Eagle
The constellation that gives Fujitsu’s multi-zone family its name, from catalogue coordinates. Fujitsu does not explain the choice.
Three rooms, and the best rating in the family.
Six facts from Fujitsu’s tables and sheets and the ENERGY STAR list. Sources are at the bottom of the page.
The best-rated Fujitsu multi-zone is a 24,000 three-zone: the Aquila XLTH, SEER2 23.5 and HSPF2 11.5.
With three heads, the 24,000 only accepts 7,000 to 15,000 heads, for 31,000 BTU/h at most.
Same "24,000" label, 20 m more: the XLTH takes 70 m of total line set, the standard 50 m.
Fujitsu approves 10 trios on the 24,000, 35 on the 36,000 and 38 on the 45,000.
At -15 °C, the standard Aquila 36,000 delivers 24,000 BTU/h and the Aquila XLTH 36,000 delivers 36,400.
The Aquila XLTH 24,000 is certified for slightly more heat at -15 °C than at 8 °C.
Three heads: 24,000, 36,000 or 45,000?
Build your three rooms and switch outdoor units: the tool checks your trio against Fujitsu’s tables and tells you whether the combination is approved.

A fourth room some day?
The 24,000 only has three ports. On the 36,000 or 45,000, a port stays free: pick the unit, the tool shows which head can be added to each trio.

Heads of 15,000 or less, 31,000 in total: the 24,000 is enough.
Beyond that, you need the 36,000 (up to 46,000 BTU/h of heads) or the 45,000 (up to 57,000). The bars show each outdoor unit’s range with three heads.

Each outdoor unit has three ENERGY STAR and AHRI certificates. AirGreen’s products ship with wall heads: the first certificate applies. The mixed certificate is the average of the other two.
Three lines: 50, 70 or 80 m in total.
Each line is 25 m at most; their total depends on the outdoor unit. The three rooms need not be on the same floor: 15 m of height to a head, 10 m between two heads.

From $1,180 to $3,720 with three wall heads.
The amount follows the outdoor unit, not the number of heads. Only the standard Aquila 36,000 is not cold climate: it gets $50 per 1,000 BTU/h instead of $120.
| Model | Indicative amount | Calculation |

Since November 26, 2025, only ENERGY STAR certified heat pumps qualify.
The outdoor unit must be at least 12,000 BTU/h nominal in cooling.
The grant never exceeds the purchase and installation cost, before taxes.
You apply no later than nine months after installation.

R-410A generation: Fujitsu’s 2016 multi-zone brochure and the ENERGY STAR list, read October 8, 2026. The 15,000 R-410A head (ASU15RLS2) is not compatible with the units marked “no”, according to Fujitsu.
What to know before choosing.
One mode at a time All heads on one outdoor unit heat together or cool together, according to Fujitsu.
Capacity is shared When every head calls, total capacity is the outdoor unit’s; what is unused goes to the rooms still calling.
Only the combinations in the tables Fujitsu approves specific head combinations; the tables are not for sizing, hence the home visit.
One system, one amount For LogisVert, one outdoor unit and its heads are one system; adding or replacing a single head is not eligible.
The right certificate Wall heads only: non-ducted certificate. All ducted: ducted certificate. A mix: mixed certificate.
The right match Fujitsu’s warranty excludes incorrect matching of units: we pick the heads from the tables.

The 24,000 works if each of the three heads is 15,000 or less and they total 31,000 or less. Otherwise you need the 36,000 (up to 46,000 of heads) or the 45,000 (up to 57,000).
No. With three heads, the 24,000 only accepts 7,000 to 15,000 heads.
It heats down to -26 °C and has a heated base pan. In the 24,000 size, it takes 70 m of total line set versus 50 m for the standard. In the 36,000 size, it is also Cold Climate, unlike the standard.
No. It is ENERGY STAR certified, but at -15 °C it keeps 65.9% of its 8 °C capacity, under the 70% threshold. LogisVert applies $50 per 1,000 BTU/h instead of $120.
With an R-32 Aquila and wall heads: $1,872 (24,000), $1,944 (24,000 XLTH), $1,180 (36,000), $2,928 (36,000 XLTH) or $3,720 (45,000), depending on the installation date.
No. Heads can be up to 10 m higher or lower than each other, and up to 15 m from the outdoor unit.
Yes, Fujitsu allows it: one mid-static ducted unit or air handler on the 24,000, up to two on the 36,000 and 45,000. The certificate then becomes "mixed".
The three heads share the outdoor unit’s capacity. When one room reaches its setpoint, its share goes to the others.
Yes with a 36,000 or 45,000, if the four-head combination is in Fujitsu’s tables. No with a 24,000.
50 dB(A) in cooling and 52 dB(A) in heating for the 24,000 units; 54 and 56 dB(A) for the 36,000 and 45,000. These are lab values.
